This policy explains how Kings Barbers ("we", "us") handles personal data when you visit our website or contact us, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are the data controller for the information described below.

WhatsApp: message us
For any data-protection question or photo-removal request, please call or WhatsApp us using the details above — that's the quickest way to reach us.
This is a brochure website
Our website is for information only. It has no contact forms, no accounts and no online payments. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any tracking technology, so no consent banner is required and we do not build a profile of your visit.
When you contact us
If you message us on WhatsApp or call us on 07425 108197 to ask a question or book an appointment, we process the details you choose to share (such as your name, number and what you'd like booked) solely to respond and arrange your visit. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. WhatsApp is provided by Meta under its own privacy policy. We keep enquiry messages only for as long as needed to deal with your request.
Photographs in our gallery
Our gallery shows photographs of our premises and examples of our work. Where an individual is identifiable, we publish the image only with their consent — and, for anyone under 18, with the consent of a parent or guardian. Our lawful basis for these images is consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary: with Meta (when you choose to message us on WhatsApp) and with our website hosting provider. Our website is hosted on servers within the UK/EU.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and request a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased, including any photograph of you;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these, call us on 07425 108197 or message us on WhatsApp. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new "last updated" date.
